Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Harish Anglos (the “Service”), operated by DevOpser LLC, collects, how we use it, and your choices. We aim to collect only what we need to run a community notice board.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your email address, and your name if you provide one, used to sign you in (via a one-time email code or Google sign-in).
- Listings and notices — the text, photos, neighbourhood, price, and the WhatsApp contact number you choose to publish.
- Feature requests and messages — anything you send us through the “Request a feature” form or by email.
- Donations — processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card number. We receive only a transaction status and identifiers from Stripe.
Information collected automatically
- Session data — an encrypted session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Log data — IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the Service running.

2. How we use your information
- To operate the board: publish your listings, keep you signed in, and show notices to the community;
- To process voluntary donations through Stripe;
- To send you service messages such as sign-in codes and replies to your requests;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (EEA / UK / Israel)
Where applicable, we process your data on these bases: performance of a contract (running the account and Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure and preventing abuse); consent (for non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation.
4. How information is shared
What you post is public. Listings, including any WhatsApp number you include, are visible to anyone browsing the board. Contact between members happens directly over WhatsApp; we do not relay or store those conversations.
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, image storage, and email delivery;
- Stripe, Inc. — donation payment processing;
- Google — optional Google sign-in.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
Listings expire after about 30 days and may be deleted thereafter. Account data is kept while your account is active. Records connected to donations may be retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and listings at any time.
6. Data security
We protect data in transit with TLS, store sessions in an encrypted store, and apply a strict Content-Security-Policy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for non-essential cookies. To exercise these rights, email info@devopser.io. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
