On Monday, 28 September 2026, during the Sukkot break, Yedioth Harish pointed families to Ma'ayan Yedidya (Yedidya Spring), under 15 minutes' drive from Harish.
The spring is on the Shvil HaGvura (Path of Valor) trail near Tal Menashe in northern Samaria. It has a circular walking route of about 800 metres, two natural wading pools, a shaded wooded area, picnic tables, a scenic viewpoint and a drinking-water fountain. Entry is free, and the one-to-two-hour walk suits a range of fitness levels, including young children.
To get there, drive toward Tal Menashe and turn left at the roundabout before the community's entrance. After about 500 metres, a parking area near the Talali Orot school marks the start of the trail.
The spring was set up in memory of Seren Yedidya Asher Lev, a Tal Menashe resident who fell in combat in Gaza.
