Residents of Harish were advised on Friday, 24 July 2026, to expect the sound of gunfire and fireworks in the surrounding area over the weekend, after the Palestinian Authority published its annual matriculation results. In past years the scores have been marked by celebratory fire across the region, audible in Harish given its proximity to the seam line.
It was also reported that, after an operational situation assessment and in light of "the events of the past day," security forces are being reinforced across the northern Samaria sector for the weekend, to strengthen readiness to thwart attacks and respond quickly. The events were not specified.
No change to Home Front Command guidance was announced.
