Hundreds of Harish residents attended a rally on Sunday evening, 18 October 2026, with two leading Haredi rabbis, ahead of the Knesset elections.
The event was held at the Ahavat Torah synagogue in the Batzuta neighbourhood. Rabbi Dov Landau and Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch took part, along with acting mayor Yochai Fara'ji. It was part of a campaign by the "Olam HaTorah" community backing the United Torah Judaism list (letter Gimmel).
Organisers described Harish as the first stop on a tour of northern communities by Torah leaders. No attendance figure or speech content was reported.
