Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Harish on Sunday evening, 18 October 2026, during the election campaign, but left without meeting residents who had gathered to see him.
He met acting mayor Yochai Fara'ji and deputy mayors Revital Gonen and Moshe Ben Zikri at the Roldin café. Likud supporters and other residents waited outside and were disappointed when he left without greeting them. Yedioth Harish cited security guidelines as limiting contact with the public. The prime minister's office did not comment in the report.
