A woman in her 80s was critically injured when a vehicle hit her on Route 65 near the Camp 80 junction on the morning of Monday, 5 October 2026, causing heavy traffic that backed up into Harish.
She was taken to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center. Menashe district traffic investigators opened an inquiry; how the crash happened and whether the driver was questioned were not reported.
By about 08:15 the jam on Route 65 had lasted roughly an hour, and many Harish streets were near-gridlocked, including Derech Eretz Boulevard and the Sapir, Odem, Lashem, HaGefen, HaAchva, Turkiz, Alon and Tamar streets. Drivers were asked to allow extra time.
