The Harish Municipality announced on 21 July 2026 the following service changes around Tisha B'Av, which falls on Thursday, 23 July.
Wednesday 22 July (Erev Tisha B'Av)
- The arnona (municipal tax) department answers phones until 14:00; other municipal services operate as usual.
- No public reception at the business-licensing department.
- The women's mikvaot are closed in the evening.
Thursday 23 July (Tisha B'Av)
- All municipal services are closed. The emergency and security hotline operates as usual: *6719 or 106.
- The women's mikvaot reopen at 21:20.
- Several summer camps and classes are pausing for the day and resume Sunday; check with your child's framework.
Other updates
- Social services: on Monday, 27 July, reception and phones begin at 14:30. Until then, calls go to the resident service center at *6719, extension 3.
- Parking: the public lot at 9 Leshem Street is closed for infrastructure work expected to last about two weeks from mid-July.
