On Thursday evening, 24 September 2026, a young man was moderately injured in an electric-scooter accident on Chavruta Street in Harish.
The call came in at about 6:24 pm. Magen David Adom crews treated the rider at the scene for head and chest injuries and took him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera in moderate condition. It was at least the third such incident in about ten days:

- 9 September: a 13-year-old e-scooter rider was lightly hurt in a collision with a car on Sderot HaAhava, causing heavy traffic on the Route 611 Harish bypass.
Under Israeli law, e-scooter riders must be at least 16 and wear a helmet.
