Harish has taken another significant step in strengthening municipal security with the initial handover of an advanced camera system in the northeast of the city.
The new system is deployed across nine strategic locations and is based on advanced active technology that includes analytics capabilities. It has been designated as operational and is now in a run-in period expected to continue over the coming month, after which the testing phase will be completed.
Officials described the system as a meaningful additional layer in Harish's camera array, intended to provide continuous coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
