A citywide billboard campaign encouraging early detection of breast cancer was reported in Harish on Thursday, 22 October 2026, as part of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The signs feature women from the municipal Women's Forum and carry the slogan "Go get checked". One large purple sign stands near the shopping centre, next to Bank Hapoalim and the mall. The forum brings together religious, secular and Haredi women in the city.
Deputy Mayor Revital Gonen, who holds the women's status portfolio, said she is proudest of "seeing the female power built here in Harish". The campaign's message is that early detection can save lives and that women should be tested in line with medical recommendations. No start date, budget or number of signs was given.
